A

condom

slips

off?

Here are some tips to help stop this happening.

  1. Keep lube off the cock
If lube gets underneath the condom, on the shaft of the cock, it can make the condom slide off. Be careful that lube doesn’t accidentally get on your hands then onto the cock before the condom goes over it.
  2. Choose the right size condom
Cocks come in different sizes and it is important to use a condom that fits you properly. If the condom is too big it will be more likely to come off. To avoid a condom being too loose look for smaller ones, often sold as ‘snug fit’ or ‘trim’, e.g. Durex Close Fit or Mates Conform. On the other hand, if a condom is too small it may split - find out more here.
  3. Roll the condom all the way down
A condom that’s only rolled halfway down a cock is more likely to come off again. It should be rolled all the way down to the base of the cock.
