Free condoms

Free condoms and lube are available from a lot of gay bars, clubs, saunas, backrooms and gyms. But take your own as they often run out. It’s a good idea to carry more than one condom and lube sachet because if something goes wrong with the condom you’ll need one or two more as back-up.

Condoms are usually available for free from sexual health clinics, HIV clinics, some doctors’ surgeries and health centres.

You should also be able to get free condoms from gay centres, social and youth groups as well as HIV or safer sex organisations.

Buying condoms

Buying condoms gives you more choice and they can be bought in lots of different places like chemists, supermarkets, late night garages, gay shops and from vending machines in clubs and pubs.

There are plenty of internet sites selling a large variety of condoms. www.freedoms-shop.com sells cheaper condoms and lube which are delivered directly to your door. You can also call THT Direct on 0808 802 1221 to find out where you can get free condoms locally.

When buying condoms, remember that the British Safety Standard Kitemark and the CE symbol

 British Standards kitemarkCE logo

mean the condom should be of a decent quality and safe to use.
